A NOTE FROM THE PRESIDENT
A NOTE FROM THE PRESIDENT:
This year’s Super Bowl may have started off a bit slowly, but that didn’t stop our members from having a wonderful time. With several rooms available for viewing at Daryl’s home, everyone found a comfortable spot—but the deck, with its outdoor seating and TV, turned out to be the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful evening, watch the game, and catch up with friends.
Dolly did a terrific job managing the football pool, and several lucky members walked away with winnings. Reggie (once again!) claimed both the first and second quarter prizes. Daryl took the third quarter, and Tom wrapped things up with the fourth. Congratulations to all three of you.
The excitement didn’t end there. The “Left, Center, Right” games were just as spirited—though a few members definitely stole the show. Diana snagged one win before Dolly surged ahead with two victories, and Pat topped the night with three wins. I think they need to buy us all drinks at the next happy hour! Many thanks to Daryl for opening his home and hosting such a fun and memorable evening.
For several years now, we’ve enjoyed playing Mexican Train together. Thanks to Dolly, we’ve recently added Rummikub to the mix, and it’s quickly become another favorite on our monthly schedule. I’m grateful to everyone who agrees to host these games—they make our gatherings possible and so enjoyable.

SPN President
